The
Lil' Ponderosa is located in Southern California in a community
called Garner Valley which is located in Mountain Center;
1 hour Northeast of San Diego and 30 minutes from Palm Springs.
If you remember watching the TV Show Bonanza, the opening
scenes of the show were shot in Garner Valley, so that gives
you an idea of its beauty.

The
temperatures in Garner Valley are mild during the winter -
40-70 degrees which allows for riding throughout the year.
We do get a dusting of snow , but it usually melts within
a couple of days. The spring is beautiful in the valley with
the lovely pine trees towering over the ground which is carpeted
in green and colored with a variety of wildflowers. Summers
offer plenty of sunshine with temperatures ranging from 80-90
degrees during the day and cooling off in the evening under
a sky full of sparkling stars.
